No special big celebration on the day itself and all these were pre-19, mostly from the 1st of Nov and the 2nd but I had a gr8 time. Didn't need lavish gifts from my friends because to me rn, I think it's the thought that counts the most. Like Feli whom surprised me with the TheoryOfSeven romper that I was eyeing on for the longest time, Uncle Ernie with his floral notebook (because he knows that I love floral-printed things in general), Liquan with his boxing pad (cz I was just telling him how much I miss going for muay thai lessons), Wifey who spent time with me on a lovely Sat afternoon bringing me to a really gorgeous cafe and some shopping in town, Lion Ernie bringing me around for food that I have craved for so long (OMG THE PRAWN MEEEEEE @ KALLANG AHHH) and my fav matcha dessert, dinner and thoughtful bday gifts on the special day itself, last but not least my girls like Durga and Shu Hui and Liqi and many many others such as Julie and Jacinta who took time to dig out a photo of us and write a sweet dedication for me, thank y'all! I've had the best birthday in a while because I just feel so loved on that one special day :') 

The best birthday gift that I've received this year from God are all of you, from knowing you guys' from the start and how much we've progressed as friends :') I feel like I'm so lucky to have met so many good people in this year, from CCA Fair to even clubbing friends like wifey who's been nothing but sweet to me. I may have my heart broken or may have let myself be trampled on a few times, but I feel like I've gained much more. Experience, friends, love. I'm more than contented with how life is treating me now and I finally feel like I'm picking up all the pieces again. 

Can't wait to see you in 2 weeks and tell you how much more I miss you in person xx
